BTS 정국,어린이 병원에 10억 기부

방탄소년단(BTS)의 정국이 서울대 어린이병원 환아를 위해 10억원을 기부하여 화제가 되었다.

서울대 어린이병원은 정국이 2023.04.14일 아픈 아이들과 가족을 위해 10억원을 전달했다고 밝혔다.

기부금은 저소득 가정 아이들의 치료비와 통합케어센터 사업에 쓰일 예정이다.

 

서울대 어린이병원에서는 전국 각지에서 온 중증희귀난치질환, 소아암, 백혈병 환아들이 치료를 받고 있다.

특히 병원은 통합케어센터를 운영해 환아의 질병뿐 아니라 전인적인 회복과 가족을 돕기 위해 노력하고 있다.

운영할수록 적자를 보는 구조인 어린이병원 입장에서 통합케어센터 사업은 후원이 없으면 유지되기 어려운 실정이라는 게 병원 측 설명이다.

 

정국은 “아픔을 겪고 있는 어린이들에게 조금이나마 보탬이 되길 바라며 어린이들이 건강하게 웃을 수 있기를 응원한다”고 말했다.

 

국내외 팬들은 이같은 정국의 통큰 기부에 “10억원 기부는 처음 보는 것 같다”

Jungkook said, "I hope that it will be of some help to children 
who are suffering, and I will support them so that they can smile healthily."
Fans at home and abroad responded to Jungkook's generous donation, saying, 
"It seems like I've never seen a 1 billion won donation."
They cheered, saying, “The most definitely important place,”
